一、正反观点型
题目就某一事物或者社会现象给出两个对立的观点，要求考生对比这两种观点，表明自己的看法和立场。遇到此类题目时，考生应在开篇引出有正义的两个观点，在主题部分分别论述，在最后一段总结出自己的观点。

1) 引出评论对象，如：

题目给出的问题大多是当今社会的热门话题，要求考生针对该问题进行论述，或指出问题的危害，或分析问题的`原因，最后给出解决问题的建议。写好此类文章的关键是“解决”问题。开篇要提出问题，可以适当描述一下人们对该问题的普遍态度和看法;主题要详细阐述该问题，或说明其起因，或论述其危害，或两者兼而有之;最后提出解决问题的办法，给出的办法应既符合逻辑又合乎情理。
以题为On the Shortage of Fresh Water 的作文为例，考生可以参考以下步骤行文：
1) 提出问题，适当描述人们对该问题的看法，如：
Nowadays, global shortage of fresh water has become a serious problem on our planet. Many
People think that water will never be used up and we never have to worry about water shortage.
