This reference letter is provided for Zeng Qinglin, who has asked me to serve as a reference on his behalf. It is my understanding that Zeng Qinglin is being considered by your institution for admission at the school.
I have known Zeng Qinglin for the past two years, as he has been a student in a class which I teach at Zhongshan Memorial High School. As his Chinese teacher and also his class advisor, I have had an opportunity to observe the student's participation and interaction in class and to evaluate the student's knowledge of the subject matter. I would rate the student's overall performance as excellent. This is evidenced by his outstanding performance in both examinations and class activities.
For two years, Zeng Qinglin has been member of the student government, being respectful to the teachers and showing incredible teamwork spirit in the organization. He is also willing to help people and processes leadership qualities that excel other students his age. His dedication to the group is another factor that I would want to rate the student’s overall performance excellent.
I should say what the student impresses me most is the positive attitude he has towards study and everything else. He has been a hard-working student and he is a person with strong responsibilities. He took an active part in school activities, including the basketball tournament. Another strength he has is I have say his master techniques in different styles of Chinese Kung fu, which includes Choy Lee Fut Kung Fu, Wing Chun and Tai Ji.
