  英语读后感题目怎么写1

Thoughts given by Sherlock Holmes and the Duke’s Son

Written in the first chapter of the book Pride and Prejudice an extraordinary sentence of which even a person who has had only a brief look upon the book will not fail to receive a deep impression-It a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife. In terms of Sherlock Holmes, we’d better alter the sentence into “It a fact universally accepted by readers throughout the world that an excellent book in possession of our famous detective Sherlock Holmes undoubtedly a masterpiece of all times.” Perhaps th one of the most obvious explanations for the unrivaled popularity of “Holmes series” in the field of detective stories. Overwhelmed by the recommendations provided by my friends, I decided to take a look on th Sherlock Holmes and the Duke’s Son originally publhed by Oxford University Press.

As a whole, th book about a case concerning the Duke’s msing son. Arthur, the Duke’s son, was found out in a certain morning to have dappeared, accompanied with which was also the dappearance of the German teacher. The school master Dr. Huxtable then turned to the famous detective of the time Sherlock Holmes for help. Realizing how tough and important the case , Holmes immediately made up h mind to accept the case and followed Dr. Huxtable back to Mackleton by train. Having formed a rough idea about the wholle matter, Holmes probed into the case immediately and had a careful investigation of the entire area shortly after the arrival, during the process of which he dcovered the body of the German teacher Heidegger. Finally, primarily due to h prominent ability as a detective, he managed to unravel the mystery and obtained the twelve thousand pounds promed by the Duke.

Having once started reading th fiction, I was completely immersed in the mysterious story presented by the book. As the saying goes, “Well begun, half done”. At the beginning of the story, just like many other detective stories, the author gives us a brief description of the condition by the words of a client. However, unlike other ones, th story first delineates the client’s strange behavior at length to indicate the severity of the incident in order to attract the readers to continue reading it. As known to all, vivid depiction essential to detective stories since it can help the readers understand each figure’s charactertics and vualize the scenes, thus making the story more authentic and attractive. Therefore, trying to present a “real world” to h readership, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, author of the original “Holmes series”, has skillfully arranged the plots of the whole story from the perspective of Dr. Watson, a character not so specialized in dcovering the truth hidden behind the enigmatic happenings as Holmes but so loyal to Sherlock Homes as a friend that he always accompanies Holmes wherever he goes. In th way, he elaborately depicted every scene and character in the book, Apart from the special start, the ending of the whole story, being dramatic but reasonable, certainly an outstanding one. After all, except the author himself, who knows that the Duke’s seemingly ordinary secretary in fact the Duke’s bastard? In addition, who knows that the Duke actually has already been acquainted with the whole thing before Holmes solves th complicated problem? Yet, surpring as it , th ending seems so natural that it fits all the plots of the story perfectly well. While enjoying th wonderful story, I could do nothing but admire the wonderful design of th masterpiece as well as the author’s gorgeous writing skill. Closing my eyes, I can even “see” the story happening just like watching a film. Not until then did I understand why the Japanese cartoon film Detective Conan used th “Conan” as the name of its hero.

As far as I am concerned, nothing more admirable and surpring in the hero Sherlock Homes than h profound knowledge which has certainly assted him a lot when he was studying the case. Take the bicycle tyres for instance, Holmes actually capable of recognizing 42 different varieties of bicycle tyres. What’s more, according to h other stories, Holmes has studied different kinds of newspapers, cigarettes, people’s footprints and other special things as well. Therefore, he seems to have the mastery of anything relevant to the cases he deals with. Except for h illimitable knowledge, Holmes also specializes in arranging the facts in order and then finding the fact leading him to a GREat dcovery or even the truth itself. From h speaking “Every mystery has an answer”, we can readily shape the impression of a man with great intelligence and inflexible will. In th case, after getting rid of unrelated facts, Sherlock Homes eventually grasped the clue and dcovered the amazing fact.

  英语读后感题目怎么写2

Th a story about a special and ueserved woman who has been exposed to a hostile environment but continuously and fearlessly struggling for her ideal life. The story can be interpreted as a symbol of the independent spirit.

It seems to me that many readers’ Englh reading experience starts with Jane Eyer. I am of no exception. As we refer to the movie “Jane Eyer”, it not surpring to find some differences because of its being filmized and retold in a new way, but the spirit of the novel remains----to be an independent person, both physically and mentally.

Jane Eyer was a born rester, whose parents went off when she was very young, and her aunt, the only relative she had, treated her as badly as a ragtag. Since Jane’s education in Lomon person, just the same as any other girl around. The suffers from being humiliated and devastated teach Jane to be persevering and prize dignity over anything a reward of revolting the ruthless oppression, Jane got a chance to be a tutor in Thornfield Garden. There she made the acquaintance of lovely Adele and that garden’s owner, Rochester, a man with warm heart despite a cold face outside. Jane expected to change the life from then on, but fate had decided otherwe: After Jane and Rochester fell in love with each other and got down to get marry, she unfortunately came to know in fact Rochester had got a legal wife, who seemed to be the shadow following

Rochester and led to h moodiness all the time ----Rochester was also a despairing person in need of salvation. Jane did want to give him a hand, however, she made up her mind to leave, because she didn’t want to betray her own principles, because she was Jane Eyer. The film has finally got a symbolt end: Jane inherited a large number of legacies and finally returned. After finding Rochester’s mfortune brought by h original mad wife, Jane chose to stay with him forever.

I don’t know what others feel, but frankly speaking, I would rather regard the section that Jane began her teaching job in Thornfield as the film’s end----especially when I heard Jane’s words “Never in my life have I been awaken so happily.” For one thing, th ideal and brand-new beginning of life was what Jane had been imagining for long as a suffering person; for another, th should be what the audiences with my views hoped her to get. But the professional judgment of producing films reminded me to wait for a totally different result: There must be something wrong coming with the excellence----perhaps not only should another section be added to eich the story, but also we may see from the next transition of Jane’s life that “Life like a box of chocolates, you never know what you would get.” (By Forrest Gump’s mother, in the film “Forrest Gump”)

What’s more, th film didn’t end when Jane left Thornfield. For Jane Eyer herself, there should always be somewhere to realize her great ideal of being independent considering her fortitude, but for Rochester, how he can get salvation?

The film gives the answer tentatively: Jane eventually got back to Rochester. In fact, when Jane

met Rochester for the first time, she scared h horse and made h heel strained, to a certain extent, which meant Rochester would get retrieval because of Jane. We can consider Rochester’s experiences as that of religion meaning. The fire by h frantic wife was the punhment for the cynicm early in h life. After it, Rochester got the mercy of the God and the love of the woman whom he loved. Here we can say: human nature and divinity get united perfectly in order to let such a story accord with the requirements of both two sides. The value of th film may be due to its efforts to explore a new way for the development of humanm under the faith of religion.

Life ceaselessly changing, but our living principles remain. Firmly persting for the rights of being independent gives us enough confidence and courage, which like the beacon over the capriccioso sea of life. In the world of the film, we have found the stories of ourselves, which makes us so concerned about the fate of the dramat personae.

In th era of rapid social and technological change leading to increasing life complexity and psychological dplacement, both physical and mental effects on us call for a balance. We are likely to find ourselves bogged down in the Sargasso Sea of information overload and living unconsciousness. It’s our spirit that makes the life meaningful.

Heart the engine of body, brain the resource of thought, and great films are the mirrors of life. In

dubitably, “Jane Eyer” one of them.

  英语读后感题目怎么写4

On summer vacation of th year, I studied in novel " old man and sea " of Hemingway , famous writer of U.S.A. ,. I admire the old fherman's will in the novel very much, he lets me understand that a person must have unremitting spirit, could succeed . What the novel described an old fherman almost the sixty years old, when go to sea and fh alone once, have angled to a big fh, but can not draw.

After tough fherman and fh have socialized for a few days, just find th a big Malin's fh which exceeds several times of one's own fhing boat, though know perfectly well that it very difficult to win , does not give up yet. Because big Malin fh fhlike smell of wound attract odd herds of shark vie for the food again later, but the old man still unwilling to give up like th, stress the tight encirclement finally , take the large fh back to fhing port , let other fhmen admire it endlessly.

The old fherman thinks that as I read ": It really too close from here to coast, perhaps there are bigger fh in the farther place ……" When, admire very much because th old fherman in the persons, because play not for some fhing he already at th moment I, but he not satfied with the exting state of affairs , but advance towards greater goal. Seeing us again, meet some little difficulties at ordinary times , all of us complain bitterly. We are the future of the motherland, should be as ambitious as th old man, go to pursue well , greater goal. Read as me " big Malin fh it enclose light fhing boat move about , it get mast to twine cable fast to begin, old man right hand hold steel fork high , jump out in a flash , affording to try one's best above water in it, a sound of wail has finhed the life of the loud fh, it floats on the surface of water silently ……"When, the I one heart too fall like pieces of stone not big.

I admire that kind of fearing of the old man at all , unremitting spirit very much, though know rival's strength very strong , but he has not shrunk back at all , meets the difficulty. Just because there th kind of spirit, the old fherman has obtained the victory of the trial of strength of th life and death. We should study the old fherman's spirit too in life, do the thing and not afraid of the difficulty , could achieve success . Read big blood offensive smell of fh smell one shark , fall over each other to vit to vie for the food, left hand of old man pull a muscle just, he can only use right hand, can weapon attacked to used for defend oneself with stick , mouth of swordfh that catch everything, and has driven away th herd of shark finally.

But big meat of fh take into big half already, but old man criticize one's own left hand " when the work th when have a rest " humorously also, I am subdued by old man's optimtic spirit too. In life, some losses are unavoidable, we should treat the optimtic attitude , can't worry about petty gain or loss . Finally, the novel sees with a teenager that old fherman has 18 feet of big long Malin's fh totally in the tolerance , the ones that have described th fh are enormous again, prove that old fherman's difficulty overcome big, than ordinary.

Old fherman's spirit that makes great efforts to struggle fearless of danger and difficulty that the novel has been extolled, we should be like him too, can' t be satfied with the current situation , should be positive upwards, it should be unremitting to do anything, it must not give up halfway to meeting difficulty should meet the difficulty. Only in th way, we could obtain greater success and victory .

  英语读后感题目怎么写5

the novel describes nearly 60 year, when the fherman fhing, senior alone in a big fh, actually not pull. senior fherman socialization, after a fh that th a big marlin, beyond your fhing several folding, though clearly hard to win, but don't give up. later in the big marlin wound bring some of the fh suspicious of sharks smell groups, but the old man still snatch food hope not give up, and finally emphasizes surround close, returned to the big fh, let the other fherman fhing admired.

when i read the "senior fherman thought: here's coast really too close, maybe there will be a bigger fh in further..." i appreciate th senior fhermen, because now he has cast in some fh, but he still was not solved, the present situation, but very close to goals. look, we often encounter a slightly difficult, we are complaining nonstop. in the future, we will be the motherland, so it should be the old ideas, will be more lofty aspiration, for a better, more goals.

when i read "the big marlin began to rapidly around the young fhing boats, cable suspension of mast twting, old man exalted to the right hand of gangcha, leapt high flash, and the maximum throw it to heart, wail over fh, it the life of the static static float on water......" i also like the stone falls in together. i appreciate the old man do not fear, unremitting spirit power, although know th game very strong, but he n't popular flinches slightly, but more intractable. just because of th spirit, to finh the senior fhermen life and death of the competition. we must also learn advanced fherman's spiritual life, do not fear the difficulty, the only thing that can succeed.

reading the big fh smells blood the crowd, sharks swam grab food, the old man left, he can just twitching, with a stick with your right hand, mouth are permitted use of weapons to attack and defend the expelled the sharks. but the big fh eat meat has a most, but also h left hand charmingly criticized the work time actually "time, i also subject to old optimm. in our life, some losses are inevitable, we should take an optimtic attitude toward to compute.

finally, through a youth novel looked for 18 feet of senior fhermen, describe the marlins up the fh hugeness, explained the senior fherman not difficult, more common.

the novel extol spirit senior fherman fear hard and dangerous to fight, we will not like him, who can't satfy the present situation, should actively, do anything relentless, difficulty, may be welcome difficult never stop halfway. only in th way can we achieve greater success and victory.

Th a fairytale whose dtribution volume only second to The Bible. It’s been translated to versions of many other languages. And I gather there must be something special, something really great about it. It’s th conviction that drove me to read it at the first beginning. Well, with due respect to the author, I failed to see how th fairytale be worthy of our attention, despite the fact that many readers claimed th book to be designed for adults.

Anyway, as a well-acknowledged book, it must possess unique feature to maintain it’s position. And it’s reputation and popularity will by no means be destroyed by what an unknown man says. I will talk about the main contents of the book, and the inspiration it renders as usual.

Th book mainly tells us the experience of a prince from a tiny planet, who traveled to many other planets and finally came to the earth and met the pilot in a desert. The prince and the pilot became good friends, and the pilot gradually got to know the feeling and experience of h friend. Before he came to the earth, little prince had been to other 6 little planets where he made acquaintance with some strange people. The first man he met was a king on a little planet, yet he claimed to be the king of the space and ridiculously justified h unshakable governance over all. The second person was a man of vanity, who enjoyed compliments of any form without considering whether it’s sincere or not. The third person was an alcoholic who tried to forget the fact that he’s addicted to acohol by drinking like a fh. The fourth person was an abosolute money-oriented businessman, who cared nothing but h fortune. Next came the lamp-lighter who performed h duty blindly. The last one was a geographer who knew too much about geography to solve a real problem related to it. These six people each represented one kind of person like us. The author satirized people’s conceit, emptiness, fakeness, innocence and blindness through the tone of a child.

I see eye to eye with the author in that the cause of people’s loneliness can be concluded to the negligence of the bonds that connects them. People are supposed to care about each other, cherh what’s really important for them, and be grateful for the happiness that they’ve gained. We all believe knowledge and experience enable us to see clearly and make right judgements all the time. But we may sometimes lose the right to speak straighforwardly, think creatively or love courageously resulting from what we’ve experienced. That why in our middle school textbooks, it’s the little kid that breaks the illusion of the emperor by saying ”but mum, he ain’t were anything”.

When I was a child, I was definitely a good boy who went home on time after school and did h homework and never tried anything without mom’s permsion. And now I am a grown-up, and still I am a good man, at least, that’s what I heard. Sometimes when I was lonely and I began to think about my childhood, then all the happiness and care-free

life came back to me as it were yesterday. Kids that once accompanied me during my childhood now become fathers and mothers of their kids and I myself am a child no more. Thinking about all these things have made me moody. There’re changes happening in our lives whether we are happy about it or not.

People told me life a journey which will never stop once it’s started. What’s left behind are happiness and sorrow, pride and shame, success and regret. There’s good old time to remince and there’s sad hours that reminds us of the pain. Your feeling makes them real, and you know you lived.

I want to conclude by saying some positive words that each yestersday used to be today, and each today the future of yesterday, so making the most of today the best way to cherh your lives. Our mortal beings are doomed to die. It’s not sad, instead, death it’s just a process of our lives. After all, we’ve lived our lives and it’s what we do and how we think that determine who we are.

(when you look at the above passages, don’t regard it as a composition or an article, because if you do, you will be puzzled at the structure. It’s just a few words that come to my mind at the moment and I type them.)

The “Holmes series” has already set up a standard against which all the following detective fictions are measured. Sherlock Holmes, beyond all doubt, has become a name firmly rooted in people’s memories.
