一、教材分析
本册教材共分10个模块，内含一个期末复习模块。每个模块仍以前数册惯例，各分二个单元。一般情况下，第一单元呈现本模块所要学习的语言内容，第二单元提供若干任务型练习，包括一首歌谣或小诗。歌谣和小诗的学习，目的有三：一是培养学生的语感和节奏感；二是提高发音的正确性；三是通过这些英语国家儿童所熟知的歌谣，介绍一定的西方文化。其中的一些不常用单词，不要求学生在歌谣之外学会使用。在本册教材中，我们会认识一些英语国家的新朋友，还会随着玲玲去英国旅行，和大明一起去美国走亲戚。同时，我们还要开始比较系统地复习归纳单词的读音，从而初步了解英语语音的一些规则。

Module 8 Discussion 学习如何给别人提建议，通过对事物的比较发表自己的看法。What do you suggest ? What about ? Why don’t you ?How about ?
Module 9 Letters from Abroad描述过去的动作和状态；学习不同国家的文化；谈论过去和将来发生的事情。句型The man wore women’s clothes actors told lots of jokes. We laughed a lot are going to see you in three weeks.

Module 10 Preparations谈论旅行前的准备，谈论旅行经历。Where are you going to go ? What are you going to do ? When are you going to do ? Who’s going to go with you ?
REVIEW MODULE Story Time 听懂并讲述一个简单的故事，复习巩固学过的知识。
