The Asian elephant is a kind of elephants. They live in Asia. They are friendly and kind. But in the last few years, there are less and less Asian elephants live in the world.

Asian elephant is the animals most in danger. There are only 35000 elephants in the world. Most of them live in India. And there are only 250 elephants in China. Our government builds a nature reserve called Xishuangbanna. It is working hard to protect the elephants.

Elephants a gentle animal. They are the biggest animals in the world. They like eating grass and fruit. But their meat and toothes are very rare. Many people want to kill them to get their meat and toothes. So many elephants died. And the rest of elephants don’t have enough places to live and enough food to eat.

What on earth can we do to protect the lively animal？

It's Sunday today. Tom, Susan and Lucy are supposed to be going to zoo.

Tom wants to watch monkey3 for he thinks they are clever.

However Susan likes to see elphants because he considers that elphants are nice.

Pandas are Lucy's faviourt animals.

But what a regret that Jane couldn't go along with them because her mother stays out and sha has to take care of her little brother.

A number of years ago, I had the rather unique experience of being backstage in MadisonSquare Garden, in New York, during the Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus. To saythe least, it was a fascinating experience. I was able to walk around looking at the lion tigergiraffes and all the other circus animals. As I was passing the elephant I suddenly stopped,confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied totheir front leg. No chain no cages. It was obvious that the elephants could, at any time, breakaway from their bonds but for some reason, they did not. I saw a trainer near by and askedwhy these beautiful, magnificent animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away.

elephants are like us in some ways. they live for a long time -- fifty or sixty years. they can remember things very well. they never forget sadness or great happiness for many months.

elephants are like us, but they are also different.

they live in families: families of females. there will be a few young males--a few baby boys. but the females will soon send them away. an elephant family keeps only its daughters,

mothers, grand-mothers and its stay together for fifty, sixty.., a hundred years. the older animals look after the young ones. the mothers teach their daughters and set a good example.

and what happens to male elephants? well, the young males stay with their mothers for a time. then they must leave the family. the females just send them away. a bull elephant doesn't often have a friend. he lives apart, away from the family, and often away from other bulls.

sometimes the females call a bull. he can visit them then, and stay for a time. but soon his "wives" and sisters send him away again. the females have a very happy familly life. what do the bulls think about it? we don't know.

Elephant is the largest mammels on the land and it can live as long as eighty years. Now, the population of the elephants is descreasing for the following reasons. Firstly, people chop down trees in the forest, so elephants are losing their home to live in. Secondly, people also hunt elephants for their tusks in order to gain money. As a result, we need to do something to help them. We can put up post on the street, or we can also hold some avtivity in some public places to spread the idea of protecting the elephants. What's more, we can inform concerning compartment about the situation and assist them to stop the illegal things hapenning.

As we all know,the wild elephant, in South Africa, has been increasingly lessening.

Why have elephants in South Africa faced so dangerous situation?First of all,some illegal merchants catch the elephants for their tusks to make all kinds of ormaments and the other,The area of their habitates has been increasingly effective measures must be taken to solve thes problems.

As far as I am concerned,the goveronment should make serious regulations to forbid catching elephant and punish those who catch elephant des,we should try our best to protect the habitas of those elephant,which is essential for therir over,more volunteers should spread the message of the importance of protecting the South Africa's elephant.

If we do not take sound solution to protect,the fantastic species--=elephants in South Africa will become extinct .
