今天，我和妈妈在超市买了一袋小玉米。我问妈妈：“我们要买玉米干嘛？”妈妈说：“今天要做爆米花。”我想，天哪，爆米花!她怎么可能做得出爆米花等一下要仔细看看去。

我和妈妈走进厨房。首先，妈妈拿出了一个平底锅放在炉灶上，把炉火点着。再放入适量的色拉油和白糖。接着把一小碗玉米放进锅里，盖上锅盖。然后再不停的摇晃。一分钟后，就听见“嘭嘭的`响声，一个个小玉米在锅里变成了一朵朵小白花，最后，一锅香气扑鼻的爆米花做好了。

我小心翼翼地拿起一个，尝了尝，啊!又香又脆，好吃极了。今天我过的可真开心呀！
