Many university students prefer a self-help travelling to a packaged one, because they do not have to follow a rigidly-planned schedule. In addition, these young people can stay in and enjoy a spot they find fascinating while leave immediately a scene that they regard not so captivating. Another important reason is that some students are not willing to pay a big sum on accommodation, so instead, they make do with living in a cheaper place.
It cannot be denied that self-help travelling is less safe. A trip into remote areas or mountains may turn out to be risky. These young people have neither sufficient experience in dealing with emergencies nor do they have somebody to resort to. They might be lost in a place without communication and nobody knows their situation.
Independent travelling, as far as I am concerned, would be an enjoyable and cost-effective choice as long as it is nearby. For young travelers, before starting, they are supposed to make enough preparations, including route, accommodations and necessary emergency aids.
One of my friends with me went to Xiamen in September before the beginning of this term. We spent 5 days there and slept for 4 nights. Personally, I don’t think that it is a wonderful trip. For me, I spent all of my money which was partially saved from my part-time job during the summer vacation and partially from my parents but found that it was a really tiring trip. Maybe it was out of my personality.
We visited Xiamen University, Gulangyu Island, Riyuegu Hotspring, Zengcuoan, Hulishan Fort, Nanputuo temple，Xiamen Museum, Zhongshan Road and so on. The schedule was so full within this five hot days that my feeling of tiredness far surpassed my enjoyment. But one thing moved me. The air there was fresher than here in Xiasha though above their city floated a layer of haze. I was afraid that one day Xiamen would took the same step as Hangzhou and no blue sky left anymore. So we have to took our environmental problem seriously.
Out of the thought that “Adults should go out to see the outside.”, I agreed this travel to Xiamen. After this travel, however, I found that I didn’t belong to the travel-loving group. Comparing with travelling around, I preferred staying at home more. Thus, I would take my next travel pretty seriously.

There are many tall buildings in Beijing. It’s a modern city. My family visited the Great Wall，the Summer Palace，the Palace Museum，the Bahia Park，the Space Museum，etc. I went to the countryside of Beijing to go boating and fishing. It was very interesting. I went shopping in WangFuJing. I bought lots of souvenirs and other things. I like eating Beijing snacks. They are delicious. Don’t mithe Beijing Duck. It is really nice.
Dalian is a beautiful city. Dalian is close to Beijing. I spent 5o minutes on the plane.
Dalian is near the sea. I smelled the salty taste in the air. The roads are clean. There are lots of trees and flowers near the roads. There are many esplanades and Japanese buildings. There are some fountains in one of the esplanades. Some people flew kites and walked on the esplanades. We went to see the beach and the sea. The sea is blue. There were many swimmers in the sea. I lay on the beach to see the sky. Dalian is a very nice place to live.
Huhehot is in Inner Mongol. There are lots of large grasslands. The grasslands are endless. The sky is bright blue. There were a lot of horses and sheep. They were running or eating grass. I rode a horse on the garland. I picked some colorful flowers. We drank the tea with milk. There is a small desert；it was very hot when I walked on it. The sand could sing.
These trips helped me open my eyes. I enjoyed my day.
Nowadays,More and more people like to travel in their the economy developing in le are willing to spend money on traveling.
However,The traveling has some advantages that can make me enjoy my holiday and different life addition ,Tourism can broaden my vision,let me learn more about other countries or eling much,we will not only enrich our knowlege and experiences,but also be aware of the vastness of nature,we will forget all trifles and burdens in our tourism can drive local economic development and increase the income of local spite of,There are some disadvantages that bring a lot of rubbish to the scenic spots,that will pollute the environment also will bring congestion to the tourist city,and may bring some price of some tourist sites is very high,and the store set the price at random.
In my opinion,I think the local environmental protection department should be well-regulated and strict with tourists to addition,the traffic department should arrange more traffic police to clear the crowded roads during the price bureau should regulate the local price and eliminate the arbitrary price of the need a more comfortable journey.

I like traveling, I consider it can broaden my horizons and make my life more colorful. Now going backpacking is becoming more and more popular. As for me, I would prefer to have a package tour.
I am a cautious person. I want everything will follow my plans, So when I decide to go for a trip, I must make a detailed list about the things I would take with me, the flight and accommodation and the trip itinerary. I know going backpacking is more exciting and more free, however, it is likely to meet difficulties. You may not solve problems by yourself and you will be trapped. I don’t want to see the bad condition happen. Therefore , I always prepare for the worst before my trip. Maybe I can’t enjoy the natural views like backpackers, but I can be relaxed and would not worry more about my travel. I just put my heart to the travel.
That ’s why I would prefer to have a package tour.

My classmates and I took part in the tour to Shuihu Town on April 15th. Shuihu Town is one of the most beautiful scenery spots. It attracts a lot of tourists to come every year, including many foreign tourists from different countries.
I volunteered as a guide to introduce Shuihu culture to some foreigners. They were very happy. Protecting its environment is also very important. So I helped the manager to stop bad behaviors, for example, telling them not to throw litter here and there. There were many tourists today. A couple put their hearts into the beautiful scenery. As a result, their child was lost. At last, I helped the lost child to find his parents. It was a busy and tired day but happy.

It is obvious that it leads to the development of hotels and shopping facilities, and this creates jobs for the local people—jobs which would not otherwise exist. Since visitors are especially fond of examples of local crafts, a number of new industries tend to be developed to meet this demand.
Still, the arrival of visitors always leads to improvements in ports, airports and roads. Local people then benefit from these improvements themselves, and meanwhile, the amusement parks, zoos and other amenities(文娱方便设施) gradually develop to attract more and more tourists.
