I went to three cities to play during last summer holidays. They are Beijing，Dalian and Huhehot.
I went to Beijing more than eight times. Beijing is the capital of China. It’s a big city. I am very familiar with Beijing. It takes an hour and forty minutes from Nantong to Beijing by plane. There are many tall buildings in Beijing. It’s a modern city. My family visited the Great Wall，the Summer Palace，the Palace Museum，the Bahia Park，the Space Museum，etc. I went to the countryside of Beijing to go boating and fishing. It was very interesting. I went shopping in WangFuJing. I bought lots of souvenirs and other things. I like eating Beijing snacks. They are delicious. Don’t mithe Beijing Duck. It is really nice.
Dalian is a beautiful city. Dalian is close to Beijing. I spent 5o minutes on the plane. Dalian is near the sea. I smelled the salty taste in the air. The roads are clean. There are lots of trees and flowers near the roads. There are many esplanades and Japanese buildings. There are some fountains in one of the esplanades. Some people flew kites and walked on the esplanades. We went to see the beach and the sea. The sea is blue. There were many swimmers in the sea. I lay on the beach to see the sky. Dalian is a very nice place to live.
Huhehot is in Inner Mongol. There are lots of large grasslands. The grasslands are endless. The sky is bright blue. There were a lot of horses and sheep. They were running or eating grass. I rode a horse on the garland. I picked some colorful flowers. We drank the tea with milk. There is a small desert；it was very hot when I walked on it. The sand could sing.
These trips helped me open my eyes. I enjoyed my day.
When I learned English, I had no idea why would I learn it, but as I was in high school, my English teacher showed me many things about the foreign country, then I came to know what the foreign country was like. They are so different from China, the world is so big, I must travel abroad someday, I want to see the other countries, having access to their tradition.
I am very interested in the culture, I know our country’s culture well, I want to know more beyondChina. I learn thatParisis very fashionable,Egyptis an old city with its famous tower,Veniceis a water city, all of there are so interesting to me. English is a basic tool that I can communicate with the world, so I must learn English well, making enough money and realize my dream.
ast summer vacation I went to Beijing with my family . First day,we went go the Great Wall because it is the pride of our Chinese and a wonder in the world.
Then we went to the summer palace We saw many beautiful sceneries there. The next day we went to the Tian'anmen square ,and we tasted Beijing duck. In the afternoon we went to the bird's nest and the water gh we were tired we were very happy.I learned much knowledge that I can't learn in the textbooks so I will never forget this interesting trip.
Nowadays,More and more people like to travel in their the economy developing in le are willing to spend money on traveling.
However,The traveling has some advantages that can make me enjoy my holiday and different life addition ,Tourism can broaden my vision,let me learn more about other countries or eling much,we will not only enrich our knowlege and experiences,but also be aware of the vastness of nature,we will forget all trifles and burdens in our tourism can drive local economic development and increase the income of local spite of,There are some disadvantages that bring a lot of rubbish to the scenic spots,that will pollute the environment also will bring congestion to the tourist city,and may bring some price of some tourist sites is very high,and the store set the price at random.
In my opinion,I think the local environmental protection department should be well-regulated and strict with tourists to addition,the traffic department should arrange more traffic police to clear the crowded roads during the price bureau should regulate the local price and eliminate the arbitrary price of the need a more comfortable journey.
Summer comes , and the weather has become irritating. My big sister suggested going to Hainan for a good relax. I thought about it for a while and agreed. Hainan is really a good place, where palm trees are abundant.
We went to a park where we enjoyed cool palm drinks. We also went to visit the monkey island. The monkeys were really cute to look at.
After we came back from the travel, we found that our bodies have become stronger and healthier than before. My sister told me that she planned to travel again next year.
We really enjoyed this trip. We were very happy!
Regarding to tour, most of people have GREat interests in it. It’s a human nature that people who come from the dame nature just fall in love into the modern city, strenuous living, riproaring and crowded living space make more and more people try to come to the dame nature with their light packs and travel bags. There is a song which just show people’s the dream of traveling long distance.
Traveling, of course,it’s to get into the physical landscape which can help to give you a good temper, wash away the dust from your soul and make you cheer the nice is not only a personal interest but also a kind of knowledge. A merry journey will be the memory that you can’t forget through your lifetime. It’s really at ease if you wander with two or three china pates who have a little exploratory energy to stay in the interesting places as long as you want but just ignore the unsightly ’s not good to join the travel agency other wise we should call it gaining a superficial understanding through cursory observation but not traveling. Of course, we should study to choose a most towardly occasion for the most famous and beautiful scene in the places before we are going to.
And we need enough money, enough time, special channel and also an economical plane, it’s convenient for us. And we can save more time to view the blue sky generally and look out upon the cloud dancing freely outside the ’s also not bad to travel by train. Enjoy the scenery out of the train on the way, just look around here and there, maybe you can get some new friends in this narrow but long carriage. Certainly you’d better choose the different path when you return back from the place of interest so that you can make your eyes full of the landscape of interest on the way and never need to revisit the once familiar place. How far-flung and galland the rivers and mountains in our homeland are! There are still too many places we can is limited but the interest of traveling is limitless. We travel just because of our love not to the natural mountains and rivers!
Dingling, the underground mausoleum of Emperor Wan Li, is one of the thirteen imperial tombs of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Emperor Wan Li (1573-1620) ordered the construction of his own tomb when he was 22 and it took six years to complete the construction which cost about two year's land taxes of the entire empire. The Emperor gave a party in his own funeral chamber, so the chronicles say, to mark its completion, and thirty years later he was buried in it amid a splendid ceremony.
The tomb was excavated in 1958 and has since been open to the public as an underground museum.
Some fifty kilometers northwest of Beijing city center, the group of tombs (known as Ming Tombs) near Dingling are scattered around the southern slopes of the Heavenly Longevity Mountains(1), bounded by hills on three sides with a southern exposure to an open plain.
The approach to the Ming Tombs is a shaded 7-kilometer-long road known as the Sacred Way. Its beginning is marked with a marble archway standing 27 meters long and 15 meters high. The marble archway is similar to the triumphal arches of Europe (Paris, Rome, Berlin, etc.). This archway, one of the finest and best preserved in the country, was erected in 1540, at a time when Chinese architecture had reached its climax.
A stone table nearby proclaims that entrants must dismount at this point and proceed on foot, that admittance beyond the archway was forbidden to ordinary citizens, and that violating this law was punishable by death.
Further on, this road is lined with gigantic stone statues, 24 of lions, camels, elephants, horses, and mythical animals and 12 of generals, civil mandarins, and courtiers(2).
Dingling consists of the underground palace and surface structures, most of which are now in ruin, leaving the magnificent soul Tower still standing in a spacious courtyard. Each corner of the Tower is a single block of stone.
The Spring Festival is a traditional festival for all Chinese people. On that evening there is a very traditional ceremony----Spring Festival Gala, which is the favorite for many people. It brings so much happiness to Chinese all around the world .
When asked about their opinion on Spring Festival Gala, people always reason differently. Some people deem that it should be cancelled, while there are also other people who argue that it should be continued.
Some people take it for granted that the Gala should not exist because it is too boring on the evening of the Lunar New Year. Besides, the form of the Evening seems the same every year. In comparison, there are, however, a large number of people who hold a different view concerning this issue, they insist that the Gala must be continued. They argue that it is one of the most important celebration customs. And they think the Gala is worth expecting.
As far as I am concerned, I am intending to stand on the side of the latter group of people. Admittedly, the former point of view seems reasonable, but the latter is more persuasive. Taking the above-mentioned factors into consideration, I can safely conclude that the Gala just needs a reform in the future but not to be cancelled.
Everyone has a dream in mind, big or small, more or nd the leaves dance in the air, because it has a big tree, it's not frustrated because of falling from the tree, but due to provide food for the tree, even if that help is negligible.
The only reason for the boat to walk alone in the setting sun is because it has a direction in its heart, so long as it has a way, it won't get lost. As long as the mood dream, the journey alone.
Dreams, like the guides in your life, give you encouragement when you are helpless, and it gives you motivation when you succeed. Take the dream to travel, you will feel the majestic dignity of the mountain, feel the joy and tranquility of the stream, feel the natural stillness and feel the beauty of life.
Walking in the golden wheat fields and stepping on the wheat, I dream of becoming a retired and cultivated leisure man. To feel the joy of a harvest, to gain? In the eastern hedge, you can see nanshan? Free from the mundane, peaceful, fresh air, natural beauty, dreams make you relaxed.
Swimming in the clear water, I dream of being a small fish, even if there is no energy to swim upstream, and not to compete with the stream. Down flowing, carefree,? Are you free to swim? It is. Although very small, but very free, although look up not to see the outside world, but can be seen from the flashing ripple, outside everything is good, the sunshine is very abundant, the dream makes you satisfied.
